Q: Tell me about your program…
A: The Charles School is a five year, early college high school. Our students spend the first two years taking just high school classes in our building. Starting their third year, if they have met all of our requirements then they can begin taking their first college courses at Ohio Dominican University. By the end of their 5 years, they can graduate with a high school diploma and up to 62 credit hours from Ohio Dominican or an associate’s degree. In order for students to graduate from Charles they must have at least 12 hours from ODU (3 classes) to even get their high school diploma.
Q: Do you have uniforms?
Q: Are your teachers certified?
A: Yes. We report to the Ohio Department of Education just like your home public school about our teacher’s certifications and many of our teachers hold their Master’s degrees.

Once you are enrolled, you will receive a bus application to fill out and return to the school. If you are outside of CPS you will not receive bussing but we can put you in contact with other families from your area if you are interested in carpooling.
